Visit BNI CBD Corporate
We look forward to welcoming you to our chapter meeting. To help you get the most out of your visit, particularly if this is your first ever visit to a BNI meeting, here are a few tips and details:

Before You Arrive
Bring at least 40 business cards. During the meeting, your business cards will be passed around the room for members and visitors to take. Plan for your 45 Second Introduction: your name, the name of your business and a little bit about your business and who invited you.

Arrival Time
Please plan to arrive 6.30-6.45am. This allows time to complete your registration and to meet some of the members before the meeting commences. While brief, this is a great opportunity to network.

On Arrival
A Visitor Host will greet you, complete your registration.

The Meeting
The formal part of the meeting runs from 7am until 8.30am, during which you will get to hear a 45-second introduction from each member, a 10 minute presentation from one member about their business, and you will also get to hear about the chapter’s performance.

Your 45 Seconds
When the meeting commences, there will be some opening formalities and then the visitors (including you) will be invited to introduce themselves. When your name is called, please stand up and deliver your 45 second introduction. Please rest assured that everyone in the room at some point introduced themselves for the first time to a group like ours – the only advice I can give is relax … breathe … and remember that everyone in the room is listening because they are genuinely interested in finding out who you are and what business you’re in.
Towards the end of the meeting, you will again be invited to share your thoughts on the meeting. A brief comment on what you enjoyed about the meeting is perfect at this point.

After the Meeting
The Visitor Hosts will catch up with you again after the meeting. If you need to make plans for afterwards, then the safest bet is to expect to finish up with us by 9am.
